CNET 2.0 FEATURES

CNet AMIGA will work on any model AMIGA computer.  A 1Meg system is
recommended for 1 or 2 ports.  Additional ports will require approximately
350K each.  Although it is POSSIBLE to run with 2 floppy drives, a hard drive
IS recommended.

Here are some of the highlights of the software:

:  For multi-line BBS's, full CONFERENCE routines, to allow users to
   communicate with each other in a 'forum' atmosphere.  Also, OLM's
   (on-line messages) may be exchanged between users while at any prompt.
   Any 2 users may enter into a 'chat' mode.  Hundreds of 'action commands'
   are supported in conference mode.
:  Amiga pull-down menus, windows, intuition friendly.

:  300-2400, 4800, 9600 baud, and 19200-38400 'locked' baud compatible,
   including the HST Courier, Dual Standard, and PP&S's Baud Bandit MNP 5.
:  XPR protocol compatible, including Xmodem, CRC, Ymodem CRC/G, Zmodem,
   Zmodem resume, ASCII, and Kermit.  XPRZmodem has been modified specially
   for CNet to providfe continuous transfers, surpassing 1600 CPS with
   a Courier HST, and more than 2200 CPS when using the v.42bis chip set.
:  Iconified modes allow CNet to run in the background, with a window on
   your workbench to be double-clicked to re-open the program.
:  All BBS text and menus are external.  Complete AREXX and C program
   interface support.  Add commands, remove commands, rename commands,
   alias commands, add AREXX or C 'hooks' to run your external programs
   at almost any point in the code.  Altogether, these features combine to
   make CNet AMIGA HIGHLY modifyable.
:  Commodore Color/Graphics mode supported for 64/128 users.  IBM graphics
   set supported for IBM users, AMIGA international character set is supported
   for international callers (accent marks, etc.)
:  Extremely powerful text line editor, with a built-in ANSI visual-editor,
   which supports FULL paragraph wrapping, just like a word processor.
:  MCI allows imbedding of commands, variables, colors, etc. into ANY text
   or message.  Very powerful!
:  24 access 'groups' supported, keeping group 'defaults'
:  More than 2000 user accounts supported, keeping full address, fully
   customizable access ratios and privelege flags.
:  Function key 'MACRO' support.
:  Full accounting system, credits/debits for more than 15 functions.
:  Time restrictions, limit access and baud rates to on-line games,
   downloading, logon, depending on the time of day.
:  All maintenance/sysop functions can be used on-line ... no reason to
   take the system down to do any maintenance.
:  REAL on-line CLI!
:  On line DOS CLI type programs
:  External editors, and dedicated local mode editor possible
:  Auto-maintenance mode, runs at a specified time during the night, removing
   delinquent users and old messages, etc.
:  Unlimited number of subboards and messages!  Subdirectory structure is
   allowed to create a 'branch' subboard orgranization.
:  Direct-exchange Upload/Download is possible.  Users can read directory and
   download directly.
:  Subboards can be restricted by age, password, access.  Optional 'private'
   messages, and 'private' files between users.
:  Examine contents of Arc, Zoo, Zip, Lzh on-line.  Also 'type' display files.
:  Search item text and headers functions.
:  Built in BBSList, Vote systems.
